At our introduction to patchwork workshop you'll learn the basics while you make and take this pretty block patchwork cushion with covered button fastening.
Have fun selecting fabrics from our stash to create your own cushion cover. You'll learn how to make a template, cutting out, constructing and piecing together your block patchwork. Finish off your cushion with a pretty fabric covered button and learn how to hand sew it onto your cushion.
PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a beginners workshop you'll need some basic sewing skills. If you can thread a machine, sew to a seam allowance and backstitch then this class is for you.
MATERIALS INCLUDED: Fabric from our stash, thread, covered button.
Basic tools of the trade, are also provided* so all you have to do is show up!
*If you have your own sewing machine bring it with you but don’t forget the instruction manual & some spare machine needles.
